Criminal History
The Criminal History Subject Area includes any information collected and retained about a criminal. This subject includes identification information like fingerprints and photos along with charging and disposition information.

Judicial Case
The Judicial Case Subject Area defines the information required to prosecute and resolve cases that result from the filing of charges against a defendant. Generally, the information contained in this subject is created by or used by courts and prosecutors.
The Judicial Case Subject Area is related to other subject areas as follows:
Laws and Rules:
Charges filed in a judicial case are identified by citing Washington RCW or WAC or by another identifying code.Law Enforcement Case:
A law enforcement case results in charges which initiates a judicial case.Registered Property:
Property, such as a weapon, motor vehicle, or other item, may be involved in a judicial case.Sentence Administration:

Jurisdiction
The Jurisdiction Subject Area contains any information involving logical or physical areas of authority. It includes law enforcement agencies and judicial courts.

Law Enforcement Case
The Law Enforcement Case Subject Area consists of data about incidents and crimes recorded and investigated by law enforcement and other mandated agencies.
Data for this subject area includes data identified as part of Incident-Based Reporting (IBR), including data about incidents, offenses, suspects, property, and arrests and bookings.

Laws & Rules
The Law and Rules Subject Area exists to allow identification of the Washington RCW and WAC, local ordinance, or other law of concern in a law enforcement or judicial case.

Registered Property
The Registered Property Subject Area consists of information about firearms, vehicles, vessels, and other property of interest to criminal justice agencies.
Data in the Registered Property Subject Area is separately maintained; i.e., it is stored independently of law enforcement and judicial cases. For example, the Department of Licensing regulates motor vehicles and vessels, and maintains firearms data received from law enforcement agencies.
